Frequently asked questions
Can you work with my architect?
Yes. We can work with your architect, or our in-house architects can support the design. In either case, we coordinate project specialists to connect design decisions with the budget, schedule and construction.
Can you help before construction begins?
We can review the site, plans and priorities to define the support needed for planning, design coordination and permitting.
Can I follow the project from outside Mexico?
Yes. You receive weekly reports with progress photographs and copies of all project payments, so you can follow the work and review expenditure wherever you are.
How is the project budget established?
We prepare an initial budget estimate based on the planned scope and available design information. Final costs reflect the work carried out, selections, site conditions and any changes during construction. Fees and payment arrangements are explained in the project agreement.
Can you help with an off-grid property?
Yes. SDM Group has extensive experience building off-grid homes. We coordinate power, water, wastewater and access needs around the site, reviewing feasibility and scope for each project.
What should I have ready for an initial conversation?
The location, project stage and an idea of what you want to build. If you have drawings or site information, we can review them—you do not need every detail settled.
